27 July @ 16:15 - 16:45
The Liver Imaging Reporting and Data System (LI-RADS) was created for the standardised reporting of liver imaging findings in patients who are at risk of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Several revisions have followed the initial publication in 2011. The most recent of these was in 2018. LI-RADS version 2018 include updated criteria that provide consistency with and integration into the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) 2018 hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) clinical practice guidance.
As well as providing a brief overview of the burden of liver disease and HCC in Australia and New Zealand, and methods of screening and imaging for HCC, illustrative cases will be used to demonstrate the following:
- When to apply LI-RADS
- Key features of LI-RADS
